Mikel Sensei has been promoted to Yondan (4th degree black belt) in US Jujitsu and Yondan (4th degree black belt) Traditional Kodokan Judo

Erik Anderson (blue belt) competed for and won the Bronze medal in 69 kg division of the US Jujitsu Federations open trails for Kumite (striking, throwing, and submitting). Erik fought seven matches against six opponents and won five out of the seven fights. It should be noted that this was Erik's first competition and the winners of the division were veteran black belts who were previous national champions. Erik fought twice the number of matches of any other competitor and displayed true heart and warrior spirit. Congrats Erik.
